Step 1: Stop at Café De Knoop

Start your journey at Cafe De Knoop at Prinsenstraat 5. Use the bathroom, grab a drink (or three) at the bar, and get yourself in the right mood for a canal adventure. Think of it as your pre-sailing HQ.

Step 2: Check in at the Office

Next, head to the Those Dam Boat Guys office on the same street as the bar, Prinsenstraat 13-h. Here you can:

• Buy drinks or snacks for the tour (stock up - canals are thirsty work!)

• Check in with our friendly staff

Make sure you’ve got enough food, drink, and smoke (if that’s your vibe) to keep yourself happy for the length of the tour, and maybe a little extra to share with fellow passengers. Your ticket has tips for nearby spots to grab goodies.

Step 3: Head to the Dock

Finally, make your way to the dock, around the corner from the bar and the office at the canal in front of Rode Hoed 100. Your boat will be waiting right at the start time of your tour. In winter, enjoy transparent roofs, heaters, and blankets to keep cozy. In summer, we go topless - perfect for sun, but maybe not so much if the weather turns. Don’t worry, we’ve got blankets, umbrellas, and stylish ponchos just in case.
