In a city where cafes are bars, coffeeshops aren’t for coffee, and nothing means what it sounds like, Cafe de Knoop is exactly what it claims to be: A community-driven watering hole run by artists, for artists (and also for anyone who needs a pint and a seat).

Tucked inside a beautiful, historic 1748 building, Cafe de Knoop is the lovechild of Cafe de Spuyt and Those Dam Boat Guys. We serve local craft beers, classic cocktails, and regularly host live music, comedy, pub quizzes, art exhibitions, and community events.

You’ll find us in the heart of Amsterdam Centrum, right between the Red Light District and the Jordaan - surrounded by the best cafes, food, weed, art, and people-watching opportunities in town.
